Well after the review 2 years ago I felt like I had to update it. They have really turned it around. Our waitress was amazing! Very attentive! We were sat quickly. Followed by drinks ordered and brought quickly. Ordered our food and it came quick and hot. Tasted great. Waitress was always bubbly and so polite. I for one sure hope that it stays good here! I love Denny's! Thanks Stacey, you were amazing!!

Very unfriendly waitress!!!! Was in a huge hurry to get us in and out! Didn't come check on us at all!! We had to Ask the HOSTESS for a to go cup for our coffee and our waitress Katie came over and asked very rudely what was wrong with your coffee? All we did was ask for a to go cup! She needs a new personality!! Cooks were very loud yelling across the restaurant!

Dirty table. Not as bad as the potty mouth that sat down by us and dropped terry fbombs in one breath. Server offered to take out menus when he should have offered drinks -

I only gave this one-star because I can't go with none. The food was the same as you get from any Denny's across the US, nothing special or different. The host left to go laugh and joke with the cooks in the back while we were waiting to be seated, cursing and laughing so loudly that everyone in the restaurant could hear. When he returned and got us our table, the waitress promptly greeted us and asked us what we wanted to drink. She did not return for over 20 minutes, and promptly left to do whatever for another 20 minutes before returning to take our order. Once the food came up, about half of it was right, even after she wrote down everything we said. Meanwhile, the host was back to joking and cursing in the kitchen while a large group waited to be seated. We were 1 of 4 families in the restaurant the entire time, it was mostly empty with plenty of open tables and booths. When we were finished, the waitress cleared our table and said she would be right back with our bill. 20 minutes later I stood at the register waiting for the host to return so I could explain that I still had not received my bill. Gratuity was $0.02; well earned. The staff didn't seem to care about the customers at all, which is why I would encourage anyone travelling through Rapid City to avoid this place at all costs.

I thought about giving Dennys another try unfortunately this experience was worse than my last visit. In my opinion the restaurant was filthy the coffee was pick up dirty the food was atrocious even for Dennys standard. Our server was Natasha she was a very sweet girl and working very hard when she asked for help from another server the server replied " No", right in front of me. I then asked for a manager and he refused to come out without knowing why I wanted to talk to him this particular establishment clearly has a management problem.

I feel bad for not knowing out servers name. Every other Friday is out Denny's night and the service is always at or above par. Our food arrives how we ordered it and the staff are very welcoming. I really like this restaurant.

Restaurant was filthy. Floor was covered with food, stuck to the seats, tables had syrup and ketchup all over them. We left and went down the road to Perkins.

This is the worst of all the Denny's I have ever visited. Management (if it even exists) needs to be replaced. The restaurant is filled with teenagers who need direction. With only 3 tickets and 4 people in the kitchen and 8 employees it really shouldn't take 40 minutes to get a meal. The waitress didn't even offer refills or update us in the meantime. They also got one of the meals wrong. The employees spent more time and effort on entertaining each other than on the customers.

Our waitress "Morning Star" was not attentive and sluggish. Didn't seem to care sometimes. Anyways, the food was horrible. Why did I come back here again? Was it because of Kids Eat Free Tuesdays? yes... :-*( I'm such a sucker. For the most part, I've had good experiences at Denny's. Which is why I would always give them a chance. This location is defintely one of the worst I've ever tried. I had the t-bone steak, kids had kids meal spaghetti and mac/cheese. Wife had the steak avocado salad (she was hungry). The t-bone steak was disappointing. (note to self, no more steaks going forward at denny's), wife's salad was even worse.

The trick to this Denny's is arriving at say... 3am? True specialists of the early morning, sobriety optional meal, and a staple in the weekly routine of night walkers of Rapid City.

Pros: -One of our meals was free Cons: -A LOT of fly's. I would rather see them walking with a fly swatter killing them than have to deal with them around me the whole time -A hostess dropped water getting me fairly wet (see above for the "Pros". They paid for my meal due to this mistake. Accidents happen and they made up for it.

Horrible service!!!! After 15min waiting we Finally just walk out and went across the street and in less then 10 min we were eating our appetizer!!! If you are expecting good service DO NOT COME HERE!!!!

The restaurant looked clean and we were seated very quickly. It took about 15 minutes before we finally got some water to drink. The food we ordered was good, but like the previous reviews the service was very slow. We finished are meal and asked for the ticket and after finally waiting 15 minutes we got up and went to the register in hopes we could get them motivated to print the ticket. When we finally were able to pay the employee at the register asked for a tip. If your expecting fast service don't go to this Denny's.

Slow service. They are out of hashbrowns, waffles and yogurt. Come on, this place is known for it's freaking breakfast!!! I guess we are out in the boon docks of SD.
